Al(l)One

Marching bands; I march alone…

I don’t march with hearts of stone.

The whole world is white they say…

They don’t match; there’s black and gray!

Laws decreed; I judge my own.

I bow down to God alone!

With compassion spirits grow.

Moral judgment I bestow.

Human hate; I contemplate.

I sit in silence…meditate.

Rotten thoughts acting as bait.

Attention wanders. Concentrate!

Useless things, they plow my mind,

Every day, wake up and grind.

Show the show and walk the walk,

Every day just useless talk.

In society we dance,

Pics and ads; keep us in trance.

Sexy sex at every glance,

Devils’ waiting every chance.

Doesn’t matter if you’re kind,

If you steal or sin in pride,

Doesn’t matter if you’re blind,

If you crawl or sprint in stride,

Or:

If you murder or abide.

I am sure you’ll come to find:

Life is hard for every kind.

Life is hard for every kind…

Marching bands; I march alone.

I go up my road of stone.

The whole world can march with me,

If that be the destiny,

If we match come march alone,

If you too search light in stone.

We’re alone when we’re all one,

If we’re all, then they are none.

But, till then: I march alone!

I don’t march with hearts of stone.
